Wisconsin FBLA Members and Advisors
Ever wonder what it feels like to stand in front of thousands of students, have all of your hard work pay off, and represent Wisconsin as a competitor at a nationwide competition? You can accomplish all of these things this year at the State Leadership Conference, but it starts with you. Be sure you are prepared for your competitive event. Become an expert in your topic, check your facts twice, take practice tests, and practice your speeches. Invest the necessary time and effort to be great. It will all be worth it when you are standing on stage in Anaheim at the 2013 FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer with a trophy in hand.
Your Wisconsin FBLA State Officer Team has been hard at work over the course of the past month. On February 2, your respective Region Vice President held their Regional Leadership Conference for all competitors across the state. It is important to recognize all of their hard work and time invested to make those conferences successful. Later that month, state officers traveled to the State Capitol in Madison to help spread the word about FBLA and other Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). We toured the capitol, collaborated with members from other CTSOs, and spoke with legislators about the importance of their continued support for our organization.
I look forward to seeing all of you in just a few short weeks in Wisconsin Dells for the State Leadership Conference. Study hard!
