State President's Message
Hello Wisconsin FBLA!
I hope that you all enjoyed your summer, which seemed to go by so fast. But I am excited that the FBLA membership year is finally here! Start your year out with a strong CONNECTion to FBLA by following your 2015-2016 State Executive Board Members on Twitter and by also following Wisconsin FBLA on Instagram!
I am also proud to announce that your State Executive Board has been continuously working to increase the communication between the State Officers and local chapters and members. In August, two of our State Officers, Hattie Kruschek and I, hosted our very first Wisconsin FBLA Webinar! The webinar covered information about Local Chapter officer positions and back-to-school activities. At the end of the webinar, a Google Survey was linked and viewers had the opportunity to rate the quality of our webinar. All submissions were put into a random drawing for four $25 VISA gift cards. I am pleased to announce that the winners of the gift cards are Haley from Portage High School, Joe from Muskego, Miracle from Bradford High School, and Sally from Whitewater High School! Congratulations! Our next webinar will be on Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m. and will cover choosing competitive events and running for state or national office.
I also want to remind you that Super Sweeps is now open. Chapters that complete Super Sweeps will receive recognition at the National Fall Leadership Conference and National Leadership Conference, receive ribbons for the entire chapter at the National Fall Leadership Conference or National Leadership Conference, and also recognition on FBLA social media and on the FBLA-PBL website.
Once again, I highly encourage you to start your school year off with a strong CONNECTion to FBLA and you will be on the path to success.
