State President's Message

Hello Wisconsin FBLA!

I hope everyone had a great time at our 2015 State Leadership Conference in La Crosse!  Members attending enjoyed touring the city on Trolley Tours and walking the riverfront. Wisconsin has a lot of competitive event winners that will be moving on to the National Leadership Conference in Chicago this June, as well as winners in GooseChase, Dress for Success, and Credly.

NLC this year will be held from June 29-July 2, with the Institute for Leaders preceding the conference from June 28-29. Wisconsin will be staying at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, just down the street from many events happening at NLC 2015. Be sure to check out the next article for more information about the National Leadership Conference.

Last June, your 2014-2015 State Officer Team put together a Program of Work for the year, depicting what tasks we would attempt to accomplish this year, and we were overall very successful. A few of our main goals were to increase awareness of the March of Dimes, to increase awareness of post-secondary opportunities for FBLA members, and to develop a State calendar for chapters to download. As this year comes to a close, we as a team hope that our members and chapters have noticed and utilized the tools and pushed to promote initiatives in our state. If you have any questions or comments from the State Leadership Conference or about our Program of Work, please feel free to send me an email at WIFBLAPresident15@gmail.com. I would love to hear any feedback or suggestions to pass on to next year’s team!

Wisconsin FBLA, these past two years as your State Reporter and State President have been a few of the most rewarding and memorable years of my life thus far. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunities to serve you.

Sincerely,

Cheyenne Mackai
